At the Expo, Dometic will showcase a range of high-end products for hotel guestrooms, including two compact drawer-style minibars – the DM20 and DM50 – and a top-opening in-room safe with advanced security technology, the MDT400X ProSafe.

DM20 Drawer Minibar. The compact DM20 is a versatile drawer minibar that allows for non-traditional installation in locations such as bedside tables, allowing hotels to use small spaces for revenue-generating refreshment sales. With 20 liters of storage space, it’s specially designed for ease of access, with a unique patented configuration that ensures a complete view of drinks and snacks at a glance. The DM20 is the first-ever totally silent drawer minibar. The DM20 features automatic defrost and a self-closing door, increasing cooling performance over the entire life cycle of the unit while further reducing energy consumption.
The unit comes with adjustable interior shelving and dividers to support various food and beverage selections. It has an interior LED light for product viewing. The unit front door can also be pre-prepared allowing the designer to fit and match his own furniture and décor.
DM50 Drawer Minibar. With 45 liters of storage space, this pull-out minibar has a large drawer for standard-size bottles and cans along with a smaller upper drawer for miniatures and snacks. It is specially designed to allow guests to see refreshment offerings quickly and easily. The unit comes equipped with a self-closing door, LED interior light and automatic defrost. The DM50 is available in either thermoelectric or compressor models, both of which are highly energy efficient. In both thermoelectric and compressor lines, the minibar comes in two versions to meet a range of design requirements: fully equipped with an anthracite decorative panel and handle or prepared for furniture integration with a matching décor panel.
MDT400X Standard ProSafe. The top-opening MDT400X ProSafe makes it easy for guests to keep their valuables, such as tablets, laptops (up to 15 inches), cameras or jewelry, locked and secure in the privacy of their guestrooms. All ProSafe models employ state-of-the-art electronics for optimum security, with a lock confirmation buzzer to provide guests with peace of mind.
The safes come with an easy to use, four-digit digital keypad lit by LED, as well as an interior LED light for easy viewing of valuables. The sleek, contemporary design, with motorized locking, matches any guestroom décor. The MDT400X comes with a master key for hotel management. Four AA (1.5V) batteries are included, and the unit comes equipped with a low-battery indicator to alert the hotel when they need to be replaced. It comes in Anthracite grey, with steel thickness of 1.5 mm in the body of the unit, and 3.0 mm in the door. Optional features include an interior power outlet, custom colors to fit any interior aesthetic and a fixing kit.
